How to Connect Your KODAK LUMA 150 Portable Wireless Projector to Your Smartphone

KODAK allows people to get more entertainment out of the KODAK LUMA 150 Portable Wireless Projector when they connect it to their smartphones. Here's how to connect your smartphone to the LUMA 150 projector. Your smartphone can be connected to the LUMA 150 projector via a wired or wireless connection.  

Connect via a wired connection 

To connect the devices through a wired connection, you will need an additional cable. To connect an iOS phone, you will need a lightning digital AV adapter. Next, connect the lightning digital AV adapter to the HDMI cable. Then, connect the end of the lightning digital AV adapter to your smartphone and connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on the LUMA 150 projector. To connect an Android phone, you will need a USB-C to HDMI adapter. Next, connect the USB-C to HDMI adapter to the HDMI cable. Then, connect the USB-C end of the adapter to your smartphone and connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on the LUMA 150 projector. Using a USB-C to HDMI cable is also applicable for Android phones. 

Connect via a wireless connection 

Connecting your smartphone to the projector via a wireless connection enables you to screen mirror. To screen mirror with the LUMA 150 projector, open the “Wireless” option in the menu on the projector to bring up the screen mirroring display. The name of the projector and password should appear on the screen. Open the Wi-Fi settings on your smartphone and select the name of the projector. Then, enter the password. After the password of your projector is entered into your device, the two devices should connect to each other. To activate screen mirroring for iOS phones, swipe down to reveal the control center and tap “Screen Mirroring”. Select your projector from the list of compatible devices. When connected, your iOS screen will be mirrored to your projector. To activate screen mirroring for Android phones, swipe down on the notification bar. Then, tap the “SmartView” icon. Keep in mind the name of the option may vary depending on the Android device you have. Select your projector from the list of compatible devices. When connected, your Android screen will be mirrored to your projector.
